Address the Board
Thank you for your interest in addressing the County Board. To ensure efficient proceedings and effective action on topics, please adhere to the following guidelines:
- Agenda Appointments: All topics for discussion must be scheduled in advance by contacting the Clerk and Commissioner at least five business days before the meeting date. This allows the Board to adequately prepare and take necessary action on the topic.
- Public Comment: Public comment is welcome during the meeting. However, please note that action cannot be taken on the discussed topic until the next meeting when it is officially placed on the agenda.
- Time Limit: The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to limit comments during public comment sessions to a maximum of 5 minutes per person. This ensures that all voices are heard within the allocated meeting time.
- Future Agenda Placement: If a matter raised during public comment requires further consideration, the Commissioners may request it to be placed on the agenda for a future meeting. Alternatively, the issue may be referred to other government officials for additional advice before being addressed in a subsequent meeting.
We appreciate your cooperation in following these guidelines to facilitate productive discussions and decision-making during County Board and Committee meetings.
For any inquiries or to schedule an agenda appointment, please contact the County Board or County Clerk.
